Duke’s bedroom

Considering this bedroom is halfway up a tower with walls as thick as eleven feet in some places, this is a surprisingly bright and airy room. It’s significance comes via the Chatelherault fireplace which once stood in the hunting lodge of Hamilton Palace.

Duchess’s bedroom

This spacious colourful room with a deep arched window is located on the west side of the house, so therefore benefits from the evening sunshine. Sharing a sitting room, which has been restored to John Fowler’s colour scheme, and a bathroom with the Duke’s bedroom, this suite is ideal for family or two couples.
