General Information

Refreshments Locally

Refreshments

We respectfully ask that no refreshments are consumed in the house unless otherwise agreed by ourselves. Lennoxlove no longer has catering facilities available. There are excellent cafes and restaurants in nearby Haddington we could recommend if you wish to eat before or after your tour. Please refer to Haddington’s local attractions and places to eat here.

Parking at Lennoxlove.jpg

parking

Please follow signs to the designated car and coach parking areas. Vehicles including coaches are welcome to drop and collect passengers at the front door of the house, returning to the parking area between those times. Our roundel area does have low hanging branches so care should be taken.

Disabled Access at Lennoxlove

access

Wheelchair users are able to see all the tours sights except the chapel which has several steps leading down. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor and a lift to the first floor. The house is extremely old and understandably some floors are uneven so care is advised.

Blue badge holders are welcome to park on the gravel by the front door of the house for the duration of their tour.

Touring

There are no facilities for the storage of property. We respectfully ask that bulky items are left in a safe place. Photography is not permitted in the house. You’re most welcome to take pictures of the grounds.

Please remain with your guide at all times and follow emergency procedures or other safety instructions as requested.

The Scottish Government have changed the requirement of mask wearing to ‘guidance’. Our guides are likely to continue wearing their masks/visors for a little while yet. Masks will be provided if you wish to wear one whilst in the house but will not be mandatory. To protect visitors and guides the doors leading to each room will remain open and sanitizing stations are dotted around the house if you wish to use them on your arrival/departure.
